Welcome to the Around the Valley Rally!

This is an SCCA-sanctioned Regional RoadRally event. The rally is designed to showcase scenic roads and
promote safe, legal driving. This is not a race - it's a navigational challenge emphasizing precision,
observation, and fun.

Event Schedule
Check-In: 9:00 AM at Treehouse Tavern
Tech Inspection: Required at check-in (no form necessary)
Driver's Meeting: Approximately 10:15 AM
First Car Off: 10:30 AM
Subsequent Cars: Depart every 4 minutes

Participant Requirements
- Each vehicle must have at least a Driver and a Co-Driver (navigator).
- Additional passengers are permitted.
- All participants must sign the waiver upon arrival.
- Helmets are not required for RoadRally events.
- All vehicles must pass a basic visual tech inspection before departure.

Route Overview
Start: Treehouse Tavern, Bent Mountain, VA
General Route: Travel north on the Blue Ridge Parkway, winding through the Roanoke Valley.
Finish: Salem Civic Center
Estimated Distance: 70 miles
Estimated Drive Time: 1 hour 47 minutes

SCCA RoadRally Rules & Conduct
- This is a navigational event, not a speed event.
- All participants must obey posted traffic laws at all times.
Around the Valley Rally - Official Rally Packet
- Unsafe or reckless driving is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
- The use of alcohol or illegal substances is forbidden during the event.
- Participants must conduct themselves respectfully and courteously to other drivers and the public.
- Scoring is based on completion and challenge accuracy, not speed.
- Remember: Getting there safely is more important than getting there first.

🎟️ Entry Fee

$35 per car (includes driver and co-driver)
If neither participant is an SCCA member, a weekend membership fee of $15 per person applies
